Cancellations & Refunds:
• Full refund available if cancellation is requested by Saturday, August 16.
• 50% refund available if cancellation is requested by Tuesday, August 19 (note – this is after our first class meeting.)
• No refunds will be offered after August 19.
• Refunds will not be offered for class meetings missed by students due to illness or scheduling conflicts. Class materials including recordings (other than workshopping of other students’ work) will be provided.
• Cancelations and refunds besides the above are at the discretion of Kayleigh Shoen. (Please do contact me if you have a special situation).

Transfers & Credits:
• If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a friend before Saturday, August 16.
• No transfers may be made after the first class meeting.
Cancellations by Instructor:
• In the unlikely event that the full course is canceled (e.g., due to low enrollment or illness), you’ll receive a full refund for the course fee.
• In the event that a single class meeting is canceled or postponed (e.g. due to instructor illness) a make-up date will be scheduled and/or an equivalent or higher value service will be offered (example – 1:1 consult with instructor) at the instructor’s discretion.

Code of Conduct and Dismissal Policy
• To ensure a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment, all students are expected to engage in the course with courtesy toward others and a spirit of collaboration. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior—whether during live sessions, in written communications, or in group spaces—will not be tolerated.
• I reserve the right to remove any student from the course without a refund if their behavior compromises the learning experience of others or violates this code of conduct. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, hate speech, repeated interruptions, or refusal to follow community guidelines after a warning.
